How to Get Her

Defeat the HIKARI Queen at HIKARI Palace and she will join you.

Actually Using Her

Lighti is a body snatching fiend who can acquire stats even higher than most RANK 3 party members while still having access to RANK 1’s full 8 EX Skill slots. Her potential as a fighter is great no matter how you choose to raise her. The task is actually finding the enemies to use her Body Taker skill on, but rest assured that it is quite worth the trouble.

Should Lighti take a monotype body, her shield will provide her with a 2nd type just like everyone else.

Her Mega Lighti transformation skill, obtained at SL200, has a built-in CT acceleration buff that benefits the whole party for a short while. It is worth surrounding her with allies who use physical skills or other CT-based attacks to take full advantage of this.

Tactical Mode Considerations

Mega Lighti won’t be available until the very end of a Tactical Mode run, but she is still plenty strong even without it. Perhaps the fact that Lighti is difficult to acquire in the first place could be seen as a downside to using her. Synth a Chariot Lance and she shouldn’t be too difficult to bring down.

Recommended Equipment

What Why
True Moonlight Sword If you choose to leave Lighti as Light type, this is a good way to go. Normal attacks are no problem, but using Lunar Wave is. Equip a Brilliant Feather to (mostly) counteract the effectiveness issues associated with Light magic.
Light-Piercing Darkness Same type as the “Egg” body. Pairs well with Victim.
Dragon Hunter Bow Useful if using the “Stone Bird” body.
Duplex Greatbow Same as the previous bow. Nullified by Aero types, however.
Blitzgazer “Stone Bird” body users will appreciate how easy this makes bashing Fighting and Aero types.
True Orladin Guard Pumps up Light magic power. HP is not affected by any Body Taker stat changes, so keep an eye on her health since this will be sapping her HP turn-by-turn.
Dark Inferno Weighs a lot, but that won’t matter since many spellcaster-oriented bodies provide a lot of extra weight carrying capacity.
Brilliant Feather Buffs Light magic. Works great paired with the True Orladin Guard and a Light-type body.
Focus Sash Gives Lighti one last chance after Victim activates.
Evolution Stone Having Lighti play tank? This is for her. Weight is not an issue since any half-decent body has high weight capacity.
World Reversal Swapping MAG with STR and DEF with AGI is no joke. Great for getting the jump on certain enemies in the YAMI Palace that have annoyingly high power and speed.
